
The draft decree on making relevant amendments to the document from 2019 was approved at the government meeting on April 16. The need for amendments arose due to recent changes in legislation in the sphere of state property management.
According to the amendments, the water fund lands will be managed by the Environment Ministry and the National Administration “Apele Moldovei”, while the forest fund lands will be managed by the Environment Ministry through the Moldsilva Agency. Lands related to national roads will be managed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development through the State Enterprise. “National Road Administration”, and the lands related to irrigation and drainage systems will be taken over by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry through the National Agency for Land Reclamation. Lands related to the activities of the Customs Service will be transferred to its direct management.
At the same time, following the expanded process of delimitation of state property, approved by Government Decision in 2019, the list of managed lands was supplemented with 757 plots newly identified and delimited. These lands are located in several localities and regions of the country and are included in the updated annexes to the aforementioned Resolution.
