Last year, Prime Minister declared income from the sale of real estate in the amount of about 128 thousand euros. In particular, he indicated the sale of a residential house in Ivankovici village, Kiev region, for 2.8 million hryvnias (about 57 thousand euros at the exchange rate for the end of 2025), as well as the sale of an apartment in the center of Chisinau for 1.4 million lei (about 71 thousand euros). In addition, Munteanu received $28,000 by selling part of his financial assets in the American company Robinhood Securities.
Munteanu indicated the existence of bank accounts and financial assets in several countries – in the jurisdictions of the USA, Romania, Ukraine, Italy, as well as investments in securities and funds, including US Treasury bonds and the Mutual of America pension fund.
Alexandru Munteanu owns two agricultural plots with a total area of 12 hectares and an apartment of 136 square meters. meters. meters. The declaration does not specify the country where the apartment is located, but its value is specified in euros and amounts to 677 thousand euros.
The prime minister owns stakes in the Ukrainian companies Venbest Security Services (16.5%) and JSC VGP Ruta Ukraine (21.86%), as well as in the American company 4i Capital Partners (100%).
At the same time, for the first two months (November and December) of his work in the Moldovan government, Munteanu received a salary of 33.6 thousand lei.
Plus compensation for moral damage
The income from the main place of work declared by President Maia Sandu in the Moldovan Presidential Administration includes several sources. First of all, it is the salary – 269 thousand lei, per diems for foreign business trips in the amount of 154 thousand lei, as well as payments for unused vacation for the period 2020-2024 in the amount of 55 thousand lei. The total amount of these incomes amounts to 478 thousand lei.
In addition, the president received 67.1 thousand lei in the form of compensation for moral damages.
The head of state owns a 74.5-square-meter apartment worth 440 thousand lei, bought in 2003. Maia Sandu declared the only bank account – in MAIB, which has a little more than 21 thousand lei.
During the year, the president’s salary increased slightly: in 2024 it was slightly less than 245 thousand lei, in 2025 it will be 24 thousand lei more, travel allowances increased by 50 thousand lei.
Family assets
The declaration of Igor Grosu, Speaker of Parliament, for 2025 has not yet been published on the website of the National Integrity Authority. In the previous year, 2024, he declared a salary of 244.7 thousand lei, as well as 132 thousand lei in traveling allowances and compensations.
In 2024, Igor Grosu did not have any immovable property registered in his name. Two houses, a 47-square-meter apartment, commercial and other real estate and land plots are registered in the name of his wife.
The Speaker of Parliament has three more days to submit a declaration. According to the legislation, the holders of public office are obliged to submit annual declarations of income and property. The deadline for submission is March 31 of the year following the reporting year.
