According to the Agrocereale association, in June, Moldova exported about 69,000 tons of field agricultural products and their processed products worth almost 618 million lei. Out of this volume of goods, more than 60,000 tons worth 465 million lei were exported as raw materials of grain and oilseeds. Among them, exporters sent abroad about 32 thousand tons of sunflower, 15.1 thousand tons of wheat, 7.3 thousand tons of corn and almost 5 thousand tons of rapeseed. The main buyers are Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy and Lebanon.
In the structure of Moldovan exports of goods of this category in June this year, sunflower oil accounted for only 6% of physical and 10% of value, flour and cereals – 3% and 2%, bakery and pasta – 1% and 6%, confectionery and sugar – 0.5% and 4% respectively.
