In particular, the deputies of the Supreme Soviet considered and adopted in the first reading a government initiative, which, if adopted, would legislate the right of investors to apply to an authorized state body to recognize their obligations under sale and purchase agreements of privatized facilities as fulfilled. This will enable idle enterprises to return to work, as well as increase tax revenues and create new jobs.
Representatives of the Transnistrian Ministry of Economic Development noted that the proposed changes will affect only those privatized enterprises for which the obligations are recognized as unfulfilled, despite the partial or actual fulfillment of the conditions.
The proposed amendments to the Law on additional measures aimed at stabilizing the economy will make it possible to take decisions on certain privatized objects on a case-by-case basis. Parliamentarians adopted the legislative initiative in the first reading, the work on the bill will continue.
