According to the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, the legislative body holds two regular sessions per year: the spring session starts in February and lasts until the end of July, the fall session – from September until the end of December.
Since the first constituent session, the deputies of the 12th Parliament, which began its work on October 22, have held 8 plenary sessions. About one hundred normative acts have been included in the legislative process, and the standing committees have held about 70 meetings.
It should be noted that Promo-LEX Association continues to monitor the work of the Parliament even in its new composition. The experts still record cases of non-compliance with procedural transparency, adoption of drafts without publishing legal opinions, without commissions’ reports and before the deadline for submitting stakeholders’ comments.
