According to Vadim Codreanu, director of the ODA, the exact amount of non-refundable funds for this program is yet to be established. A total of 1.5 billion lei is planned to be allocated to economic programs in next year’s budget, part of which will be given to the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development. The amount of funds for the ODA will be specified after the second reading of the document in Parliament.
The ODA director told Logos Press that in 2025, 809 packages of documents worth 323.6 million lei were approved for granting grants for the programs implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Organization. This is 37% more than the amount of non-refundable funds allocated last year.
The number of participants in the “373” program, administered by the organization, has exceeded 1,000 entrepreneurs. They have been granted credits worth 4.2 billion lei, thanks to which additional investments worth 6.2 billion lei were attracted into the economy. Besides, over 400 bank guarantees were issued this year. And in 2026, it is planned to increase the limit on this item.
“Financial support programs and products managed by ODA, complemented by training initiatives such as mentoring, create a base for strengthening and growth of entrepreneurship,” emphasizes Vadim Codreanu. – We encourage entrepreneurs to take advantage of these opportunities, as we are convinced that investing in competence is the right step towards economic sustainability.”
ODA reports that from summer 2024 to date, 51 companies have been approved under the Small Producers Support Program. Entrepreneurs have received grants totaling LE 18.4 million. This funding has attracted investments in the economy totaling 30.8 million lei.
At the time of submission of documents, the beneficiaries created 178 jobs, and the implementation of investment projects will lead to the creation of another 206 new jobs.
A group of beneficiaries of this program additionally received grant funding totaling 2.6 million lei under the program “EU4Moldova: Local Communities”. It is funded by the EU and the Governments of Germany, Austria and Poland.
