Organized by Nvidia itself, the conference takes place from March 16 to 19, 2026 in San Jose, California. The event is often referred to as the “Super Bowl of Artificial Intelligence.” It brings together developers, engineers, researchers and investors every year to discuss breakthroughs in AI, data centers, robotics, graphics architectures and rendering technologies.

The event attracted nearly 30,000 attendees from 190 countries, underscoring its status as the most important event for the high-performance computing industry.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang presented the company’s full technology portfolio, from chips and software to models and applications, in a keynote speech at the forum, reports nvidia.com.

New Nvidia products

Among the new products that the company intends to present at the conference, analysts highlight several:

Vera Rubin architecture: details are expected on the next generation of the architecture after Blackwell, optimized for long-context inference;

AI agents: announcement of the NemoClaw platform for enterprise AI agents in partnership with major companies such as Google, Adobe and Cisco;

Infrastructure: discussion of gigawatt data centers and advanced neural rendering systems.

Observers note that Nvidia is eager to use the GTC 2026 conference as a platform to strengthen its leadership in the artificial intelligence segment. On the eve of the forum, company CEO Jensen Huang said, “Artificial intelligence is becoming the infrastructure of every industry” – artificial intelligence is becoming the infrastructure of every industry, thus emphasizing the comprehensive nature of the products they offer.

Competitors are not dormant

Against the background of Nvidia’s presentation and loud statements of the company’s head, competitors are also trying to keep up in the technological race. And they too are presenting their new developments.

In particular,

– Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) expands the line of gas pedals for AI-inference;

– Intel is pushing its own strategy in data centers;

– cloud giants including Microsoft and Amazon are developing their own AI chips to reduce dependence on external vendors.

Analysts note that Nvidia’s large customers are increasingly investing in internal processor development in an effort to control infrastructure costs.

With a capitalization of about $4.3 trillion, Nvidia remains a systemically important player in the semiconductor market. However, competition in the inference computing segment is growing rapidly, and it is this segment that is becoming the next battleground, according to GTC 2026 conference participants.
