It will focus on scaling infrastructure for training and deploying advanced AI models. The agreement strengthens the companies’ position in the global race for computing resources, Nvidia said in a statement on the deal.

New clusters based on Blackwell and Rubin

Under the collaboration, Meta will deploy Nvidia’s latest architectures – including Blackwell and next-generation Rubin graphics gas pedals, Grace CPUs and high-performance networking solutions. These technologies are designed to handle large language models (LLMs), recommender systems and multimodal AI platforms.

“No one is deploying AI at the scale that Meta is,” said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. The partnership combines cutting-edge research and industrial infrastructure to serve billions of users, he said.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the company is building some of the most powerful AI clusters in the world and aims to deliver “personalized superintelligent computing power to everyone.”

Experts see this as a strategy to create deeply personalized AI agents within the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp ecosystem.

For global markets, the agreement confirms two trends: the ongoing shortage of high-performance GPUs and the willingness of major platforms to continue multi-billion dollar capital investments in AI infrastructure despite macroeconomic volatility.
