
It will operate on the principle of an electronic self-service platform. The concept and procedure of the new information system was approved by the government. In addition to eliminating the physical presence of the entrepreneur, the system will also reduce data processing time and ensure traceability of the process.
The concept delineates the competencies of the GRPE registrars. The Public Services Agency will keep records of eight types of units, among which are commercial companies, cooperatives, non-profit organizations, state and municipal enterprises, public bodies and institutions, as well as individual and independent entrepreneurs and peasant (farm) households.
Ministry of Justice – to account for lawyers, notaries, bailiffs, licensed administrators, mediators, court experts, translators and interpreters in the justice sector and transmit the data to the GRPE to generate the IDNO – state identification number or tax code assigned to a legal entity.
The data will also be transmitted to the State Register of Legal Entities by the Ministry of Finance, which keeps records of persons carrying out activities based on a patent, independent activities, and in the procurement of crop and/or horticultural products and/or plant life.
The Regulation on the procedure of keeping the state register also includes norms for the protection of personal data. The new legal provisions will be enacted after their publication.
