
US President Donald Trump announced on 10 July that his country would sell weapons to NATO allies , which the alliance would later transfer to Ukraine. Among the weapons available for purchase are Patriot air defense missile systems. In addition to the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway have agreed to participate in this program. At the same time, France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, according to the mass media, decided not to buy weapons from the USA for Ukraine.
So far, the US has been leading in terms of total aid provided to Ukraine since the end of January 2022. Over more than 3.5 years, the country has provided support worth 114.6 billion euros, with 64.6 billion in military aid, 46.6 billion in financial aid and 3.4 billion in humanitarian aid.
Following in the ranking are EU organizations, which gave Ukraine 61.2bn euros, including 58.5bn in financial support.
The United Kingdom, which allocated 19.3bn euros, ranks third in terms of volume, followed by Germany (15.9bn), Japan (10.7bn), Canada (10.3bn), Denmark (9.4bn), the Netherlands (8.4bn) and Sweden (7.6bn), while France (7.4bn) rounds out the top 10.
