The video, stylized as an advertisement for the year 2036, depicts a world where humans actually “service” the AI infrastructure, generating power for algorithms controlled by tech corporations. It first appeared on AiCandy’s Instagram account and quickly went viral on the X and TikTok networks.

The clip, created using generative models, presents Musk, Bezos and Altman as the beneficiaries of a new economic system in which the boundaries between man and machine are blurred.

Despite its obviously satirical nature, the clip quickly became a topic of discussion not only in digital communities, but also among investors and analysts.

Satire as an indicator of anxiety

The rise in the popularity of such material indicates a marked shift in the perception of an industry that, until recently, was primarily associated with innovation and economic growth. Now the public debate is increasingly focused on issues of power concentration and potential inequality.

“These viral formats are not just entertainment, but a reflection of society’s deep-seated concerns about who ultimately controls the technology infrastructure,” says Mark Henderson, a senior digital economy analyst at a London-based consultancy.

Against this backdrop, the figures of major tech entrepreneurs are gradually becoming symbols of a broader debate about who is shaping the architecture of the digital economy and what social consequences this may entail.
