Athletes won 42 medals, 15 of which were of the highest merit, 14 silver and 13 bronze (see the results in the table). This allowed the Moldovan national team to take the second place in the team standings. At the top of the ranking are the Turkish swimmers, who won 81 medals (22 gold, 31 silver and 28 bronze). More medals were won by boys and men – 24 (11 gold, six silver and seven bronze), girls – 16 (four gold, eight silver and six bronze).

The leaders of the Moldovan team in the individual event were Alexandra Ablovatcaia and Maria Corlateanu among girls (six medals each), Dmitri Culiemza and Timur Raetchi – among boys (five medals each). Some of our athletes (Alexandra Ablovatcaia, Maria Corlateanu, Timur Raetschi) competed in both youth (up to 17 years old) and adult competitions.
