This was stated by the representative of the MOST office in Brussels, Doinitsa Ulinic. According to her, the main mission of the office is to contribute to the integration of Moldovan researchers into the European research space, as well as to represent Moldova’s interests in the field of science and innovation at the EU level.
“We act as an intermediary and source of information, helping research organizations and individual scientists to access funding programs such as Horizon Europe and to find international partners,” Ulinich said.
She emphasized that researchers can subscribe to MOST newsletters and directly seek advice on how to participate in projects. First of all, all those interested are recommended to visit the portal horizoneurope.md, where news about project competitions, events and other opportunities within the Horizon Europe program are regularly published. Contacts of specialists are also available on the portal, ready to provide support depending on the area of activity.
It is especially important, according to the expert, to overcome the difficulties related to the preparation of project applications and to benefit from the support of available structures.
Ulinich urged researchers not to be afraid to get involved in international projects:
“Integration into the European research space is difficult, but there are support structures that will help you find partners, better understand the available opportunities and turn ideas into concrete European projects.”
