
The Moldovan head of state is scheduled to meet Ukrainian and French presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron, as well as acting Romanian President Ilie Boloian. He will also hold bilateral discussions with the prime ministers of Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Great Britain and the Netherlands, as well as with other European leaders.
According to the Moldovan president’s press service, the discussions at the summit and at the bilateral meetings are centered on consolidating peace and security in the region and in the whole Europe, enhancing Moldova’s economic sustainability, promoting projects that improve the quality of life and advancing the process of accession to the European Union.
The European Political Community was created on the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron and represents a platform for political dialog on peace and security issues on the continent, as well as cooperation between EU and non-EU states. The first Community Summit was held in Prague in October 2022, and the second was held in our country in June 2023.
