Moldovan dancers took the Grand Prix in Stuttgart

Gluhov and Glazunova took first place in the Standard Adult category. At the Grand Prix in Stuttgart, which is one of the most prestigious in the world, the Moldovan couple became the best in five types of standard dances. The second place went to Vadim Shurin and Anastasia Meshkova, representing Latvia. On the third step of the podium were Edgaras Baltaragis and Indre Baltarage from Lithuania.

The athletes also contributed to the victory of the Moldovan team in the team event. The dancers performed in the free program to the music from the movie “Pulp Fiction”, and later each of the four Moldovan couples presented their number (two couples – in standard dances and two – in Latin dances). Our team scored more points than the competitors from Germany and Spain.

Dancers Alexei Gluhov and Anastasia Glazunova, who are pupils of the president of the Federation of Sport Dancing Petru Gozun, have been representing Moldova at international competitions since 2023. Previously, they performed for Russia. The couple has repeatedly won the World and European championships in sports dance in various categories, and recently returned with gold medals from China, where the World Games were held.
