Initiators and organizers are the Investment Agency of Moldova and Moldovan IT Park, with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization.
According to the German-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the main goal is to present to Germany as a strategic partner the opportunities of the Moldovan IT industry and expand the format of nearshoring cooperation (regional outsourcing) between companies of the two countries.
There will be presentations of Moldova’s advantages as a technological platform: competitive cost of services, high level of specialists’ training and unique tax regime of the IT-park with a single fee of 7%.
The participants of the event will be able to familiarize themselves with successful cases of cooperation with German companies, to discuss the prospects of outsourcing and digital services, as well as to establish direct business contacts with representatives of IT-business and state structures of Moldova.
Among the partners of the initiative are DIHK, Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft, regional chambers of commerce and industry of Germany, NRW.Global Business, Honorary Consulate in Hamburg, AHK Rumänien, as well as Deutsche Outsourcing Verband.
The project is supported by the Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova initiative, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Swiss Government, and implemented by GIZ Moldova.
