The Regulation of the Fund for the development and organization of the market of fish farming products was approved by the Government of RM. According to the report of the MAIA Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, “the adoption of this regulation is important for the creation of a functional and predictable framework for financial support of the activity of production, processing and sale of aquaculture products”.
The support mechanism launched in Moldova will be similar to the one in the EU member states, where the aquaculture sector receives funding from national governments and European structures through special funds.
The Regulation is also necessary to prepare Moldova for the use of European funds aimed at the development of this sector of agricultural production.
