The meeting resulted in the adoption of a Declaration on strengthening the resilience of Romania, Moldova and Ukraine in key areas such as energy security, cyber security and cooperation to improve land connectivity of the three countries.

“Through the Odessa Triangle format, we are accelerating the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, strengthening our regional voice on the world stage and addressing the specific challenges of our historical communities. At the Munich conference, we announced our decision to conclude a trilateral cooperation agreement on cybersecurity, the Triple Cyber Alliance, because we have experts and experience in both public and private sectors and we want to strengthen our international position as partners and security providers in this field,” Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Tsoiu said.

The Moldovan Foreign Ministry has not yet commented on the creation of the new cyber structure.

The Memorandum of Understanding on the Triple Cyber Alliance, aimed at improving cooperation in combating threats in this area, will be signed this month and will enter into force thereafter.
