This was stated by MEP Dan Barna on Tuesday: “Another good news. The European Commission has decided that Moldova will join the Creative Europe program from January 1, 2026”.
He said this decision will allow Moldovan organizations to participate together with EU partners in cultural projects that promote cross-border cooperation, creative mobility and cultural diversity.
The signing of the agreement is scheduled for September 2, in the presence of Commissioner Glenn Micallef. This step “marks a key moment in Moldova’s European cultural integration”.
