
An average Moldovan resident can buy only 546.2 liters of AI-95 fuel with his salary. At the same time, gasoline prices in the country have decreased by 1.6% since the beginning of the year, while diesel prices have decreased by 1.5%.
Apart from Moldova, the bottom lines of the rating are occupied by Romania, Latvia, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia.
The largest amount of gasoline can be bought by residents of Luxembourg – more than 2.8 thousand liters, which is five times more than in Moldova. Fuel prices in this country are low by European standards, while salaries are among the highest in Europe. The second place was taken by Great Britain with 2.5 thousand liters. Norway, Austria and Ireland are also in the top five of the rating.
Russia is in 15th place with a figure of 1,360 liters. Romania is in 31st place with 731.4 liters. Latvia is in 30th place with 762.1 liters. Ukraine is absent in the rating.
