On their way to the finals, Rencheli and Neil, who received a Wild Card from the tournament organizers (the opportunity to play in the main draw of the tournament without having to go through the qualifying round – author’s note), won three times. Rencheli and Neal’s opponents in the final were Russia’s Anastasia Goncharova and American Madison Tattini. The match lasted one hour and 18 minutes and ended with the victory of tennis players from Moldova and Estonia with the score 6:3, 6:2.

Rencheli also took part in singles, but failed to reach the second round. In the first round she defeated Lexington Reed (USA) 6:4, 7:6 (6:2 on tie-break), in the next round she lost to Ema Burgic Buko from Bosnia and Herzegovina 2:6, 3:6.

The prize fund of the tournament in Daytona Beach amounted to $30,000. Rencheli, like her partner, earned $4.86,000 and 35 points for the victory. She also earned $297 and no points for advancing to the second round of the singles tournament.

In the WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) rankings, Rencheli is ranked 940th in singles and 215th in doubles. In her professional career, the 23-year-old tennis player has climbed to 907th in singles and 184th in doubles.

Born in Moldova, Abigail Renchely has represented the United States at international tournaments since October 2022.
