The author of the ad indicated the price – 30 thousand Belarusian rubles (about €10 thousand). There are three large yards with houses on the territory of the village, there is a forest and a river nearby.
The territory of the village is privately owned, there is electricity and a well. Initially, the property was purchased to create an agro farmstead, but the project was not realized.
It is indicated that the largest of the houses has an area of 43 square meters. m. Its roof is covered with tiles and there is a stove inside.
A real sale or a PR stunt?
After a while, the ad was removed. It remains unknown whether the village found a buyer in less than 24 hours or whether the author of the ad decided to cause a resonance by organizing a creative advertising campaign.
Belarus has a government program, under which empty houses in villages and hamlets are put up for sale. It is known that in the villages neighboring Veselukha, some houses are sold for 45 Belarusian rubles (about €15).
The village of Veselukha is located in Vitebsk region of Belarus, 5 km from the district center, Postavy, and 20 km from the border with Lithuania.
