This car is not just a concept, but a full-fledged road car with permission to operate on ordinary roads. At the same time, it remains as close as possible to a bolide: one seat, ultra-light carbon fiber body and aerodynamics, honed to the limit, writes Motor1. Visually, the model echoes the Dallara Stradale, but has been given a more compact front end for improved efficiency at speed. Andrea Guerri was also involved in the design.
Under the hood is a 2.3-liter turbo engine from Ford with an output of about 400 horsepower, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. With a weight of less than a ton, the car is able to accelerate to 100 km / h in about 3.3 seconds, and the maximum speed reaches about 280 km / h – indicators worthy of real track cars.
The origins of the project go back to the Stradale model, created with the participation of the Granstudio design bureau, where the main emphasis was placed on aerodynamics and clean lines. The new single-seater is a logical continuation of this philosophy, but taken to the extreme.
The auction will be held on April 2 without a set starting price, but experts expect that the car will go for more than 800 thousand dollars. All proceeds will go to a charitable foundation created in memory of the founder’s daughter – Fondazione Caterina Dallara, which supports cultural and social initiatives in the Val-Cheno region.
This project is not just a rare car, but a reflection of passion for engineering and speed, embodied in a single copy.
