Louis Vuitton is testing a gastronomic segment with a €250 product

Louis Vuitton has unveiled a limited edition Sac Œuf Jaune product for Easter 2026 - an edible interpretation of the brand's signature bag. The product was designed in collaboration with French chocolatier Maxime Frederic and is part of the La Collection de Pâques 2026 holiday collection, available in Paris.

The novelty is an example of cross-industrial collaboration that combines fashion and gastronomy. The design is inspired by the Sac Œuf model created by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Spring-Summer 2019 collection. Weighing approximately 1.05 kg, the piece replicates the key visual elements of the original accessory, including shape, proportions and decorative details.

From a technological point of view, the product is characterized by high complexity of execution. The base is made of dark chocolate, inside there is a filling of hazelnut praline, candied fruits and roasted nuts. Additional elements such as handles and zipper are made of dyed white chocolate. The centerpiece includes milk chocolate with praline and lemon caramel to form a multi-layered flavor profile.

The composition is carefully balanced: dark and milk chocolate, hazelnuts, pecans, candied orange and fleur de sel are used. This approach reflects the trend towards premium gastronomic products with an emphasis on the quality of ingredients and attention to detail.

The retail price of Sac Œuf Jaune is €250. Sales are limited – the product is available exclusively at Le chocolat Maxime Frédéric boutique.

The launch underscores Louis Vuitton’s strategy to expand its presence in the experiential luxury segment, where unique experiences and limited-edition collectibles play a key role.
