According to the information of the capital mayor’s office, some works are carried out at night in order not to cause discomfort to citizens and motorists. Thus, during two nights, the workers of the company “Exdrupo” laid a leveling layer along the entire length of the street, after which the last layer of asphalt concrete will be applied.
Mayor Ion Ceban noted that the street separating the Botanica and Center sectors has not been seriously repaired for decades. Both the roadway and the sidewalks were in a deplorable condition, and the parking of cars was carried out indiscriminately, including in green areas.
During the repair, illegal kiosks and billboards were evacuated from the street, and new waiting pavilions were installed at public transportation stops in both directions of traffic. According to the mayor, in the future projects of rehabilitation of the capital’s streets will be realized according to this model.
