The Defense Ministry said the purpose of the exercise was to improve interoperability and develop special mission capabilities by firing various weapons, practicing physical endurance and command and control skills, and conducting military medical training. The servicemen also performed parachute jumps in the sling and free-fall categories.

The exercise was carried out in line with the National Army’s external activity plan for 2026. Moldovan servicemen have been participating in the JCET exercise since 2009.
