Iuliana Albu
She has built her career in the health sector, having received an academic education in Moldova in the field of economics and public finance. Since 2009, Iuliana Albu has been working in the health sector, specializing in legislative regulation in the field of medicines.
She started her career as an accountant-economist at the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery (IMSP) and then moved to the National Health Insurance Company, where she worked her way up from coordinating specialist to the Head of the Medicines Department. From 2022 to 2023, she provided consulting services to the World Health Organization team in Moldova.
Starting from 2024, Iuliana Albu took the position of Head of the Medicines and Medical Devices Policy Directorate, coordinating the harmonization of Moldovan legislation with EU legislation.
