
A total of 864,300 ballot papers will be printed for abroad, of which: 756,800 in Romanian, 105,500 in Russian, 500 in Gagauz, and 1,500 in Ukrainian. As Logos Press reported, the Foreign Ministry initially requested 1,098,000 ballots for polling stations abroad.
The cost of one ballot paper is 1.10 lei, and the total cost of the circulation is about 954,000 lei.
The largest number of ballots will be printed for Italy – 229,000, Germany – about 140,000, Great Britain – 97,000, France – 83,000 and Romania – 80,000.
The ballots will be delivered to polling stations abroad through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
Moldovan citizens can vote at any polling station, regardless of their status on the territory of the host state. They must present one of the following documents: identity card (buletin de identitate) of a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, temporary identity card (carte/buletin de identitate provizoriu), passport of a citizen of the Republic of Moldova (including expired).
Polling stations abroad will be open from 07:00 to 21:00 (local time).
