
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, a significant growth – more than 1.5 times. – was shown by investments in intangible assets. However, this hardly had a decisive impact on the overall growth of investments, as their share is only 4.7% (1.2 billion lei).
At the same time, investments in tangible assets, which account for 95.2% of total investments, increased by 15.5% in January-September this year, reaching 23.8 billion lei.
During the analyzed period, 3.7 billion lei were invested in the construction of residential buildings (26.2% growth). 3.3 billion lei were spent on non-residential objects (+7%).
The largest amount was directed to the acquisition of machinery and equipment – 7.9 billion lei (+15.1%). Investments in vehicles amounted to almost 3 billion lei (+5.7%). Engineering constructions were financed with 3.8 billion lei (+13%).
In general, investment in the housing sector for the period January-September shows positive dynamics for three consecutive years. While in the first nine months of 2023, 2.4 billion lei was invested in housing, in 2024 – 2.9 billion lei, and in 2025. – already 3.7 billion lei.
