According to the Association Moldova Fruct, based on the data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of MAIA, the largest buyers of Moldovan plums last month were: Romania – 4.9 thousand tons, Germany – 4.1 thousand tons, Russia – 3.7 thousand tons, Poland – 1.9 thousand tons, Belarus – 0.7 thousand tons.
According to expert estimates, more than 40 thousand tons of Moldovan plums of the crop-2025 have been exported so far. At the same time, the operators of the fruit market of Moldova assume that at the end of November, the physical volume of export of these fruits will not be lower than in the last month. However, the average export price for Moldovan plums in November is likely to be lower than in October.
At the moment, the industry association and the Ministry have not yet changed the summer forecast of plum production in 2025 in Moldova – about 80-90 thousand tons.
