According to the government portal cariere.gov.md, a total of 426 vacancies are currently recorded in 87 central and local authorities. The largest number of vacant positions is in the field of agriculture, rural development and food safety – more than a hundred vacancies. Next are social protection (64 vacancies), justice and law (54), economy (30), finance, taxes and customs (29), cadastral and land administration (15), public administration and services (14), and statistics and reporting (13).
Fewer vacancies were recorded in education, health care and IT sector. At the same time, some areas have no vacancies at all – among them tourism, culture, ecology, demography and a number of other areas.
The level of salaries in the public sector depends on the institution, position, level of responsibility and location of the employer. Thus, a consultant at the National Bureau of Statistics is offered a salary from 11,500 lei, at the State Chancellery – from 15,000 lei, and at the Ministry of Energy – about 15,990 lei.
In local authorities and subordinate institutions, the level of pay also varies. For example, the director of a kindergarten in Drochia can receive from 18,000 lei, and the secretary of the village council from 14,000 lei. A specialist of the Territorial Social Insurance Fund is offered from 6,980 lei per month.
We shall remind you that earlier, the government approved an increase in the staff of the State Chancellery by 56 units – up to 379 employees. The estimated amount of additional expenses related to the staff expansion is 20.8 million lei.
