
As noted in the mayor’s office, 8 out of 13 land plots in the city were sold, and the right to lease was bought out for one of them. The most expensive lot was a plot with an area of almost 12 hectares on Maria Dragan Street. The initial price of 5 million lei increased 2.6 times during the auction and amounted to 13 million lei. In other words, one hectare cost the buyer 55 thousand euros.
Another plot of 12 hectares on Bukovinei street with a starting price of 2.5 million lei increased 5 times during the auction and was sold for 12.75 million lei (i.e. 54 thousand euros per hectare).
Two plots in Botanica sector with the code R2-R3 (allowing low-rise residential construction) and with the area of 6 and 5 hectares were sold for 2.55 and 2.7 million lei, respectively. One of them increased in price 1.7 times, the second – 1.8 times. It is not difficult to calculate that the price of one sotka for individual construction amounted to 22-25 thousand euros.
Other plots, also for the construction of low-rise residential buildings in the sectors of Botanica and Riscanovca were sold for 3 million (6 acres) and 2.7 million lei (5 acres).
The property lease of a 16-acre site for a parking lot in the Ciocana sector, with an auction price of 500 thousand lei, was bought for 1 million lei. The lease is granted for 10 years without the right of privatization. The annual payment amounted to 228.7 thousand lei.
