
The decision was made during a meeting of the Attestation Commission for the review of cases of suspension or revocation of certificates, convened at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development. The Commission analyzed the seriousness of the violations reported by the National Inspectorate for Technical Supervision. Significant deviations were found at all stages of construction: from urban planning documentation, design and technical inspection to final acceptance and unauthorized interference with the building’s structure.
All specialists involved in the design and construction of the affected house were invited to the commission and were given the opportunity to express their point of view.
The inspection revealed gross violations of applicable law and negligence that jeopardized the safety of the residents. In this regard, the Commission applied the toughest measure provided for by the Regulation on Attestation – revocation of the certificate confirming the right to professional activity.
The fire in the attic of a 10-storey residential building in Durlesti occurred on May 16, 2025, as a result of which 16 people were injured and 1.5 thousand square meters of roof was destroyed.
