GITEX AI Asia 2026

The Asian artificial intelligence market is entering the center of global competition, as clearly demonstrated by the GITEX AI Asia 2026 forum held on April 9-10 in Singapore. It brought together more than 23,000 participants from 110 countries, including corporations, startups and investors, demonstrating the accelerating shift of technological leadership towards the Asia-Pacific region.

The event, a regional extension of the global GITEX series, brings together more than 550 companies and startups, as well as more than 250 investors, forming one of the largest platforms for deal-making and discussion on the adoption of artificial intelligence in business, note organizers.

Focus – corporate application of AI

The forum is themed “Building Trust & Scaling Innovation in Asia” and reflects a key shift in the industry from technology demonstration to its large-scale implementation in the economy.

The agenda centers on the corporate application of AI, digital infrastructure development and investment sourcing. The program covers cybersecurity, quantum technologies, fintech, digital health and climate solutions, highlighting AI’s emergence as a foundation for cross-industry transformation.

Organizers are banking on practical results: over two days, attendees get access to dozens of hours of sessions and hundreds of business contacts, including C-level executives who make up more than a fifth of the audience.

“Platforms like GITEX AI Asia are critical for open dialog and collaboration on technology, and forums like these help mitigate risk and preserve global cyber stability,” gitexasia.com quoted David Koch, executive director of the Cyber Security Agency, as saying.

The growing interest in the event reflects a broader trend: Asia is emerging as a key driver of AI development, thanks to investments by governments and strong adoption of the technology by businesses. According to market participants, the region is already showing one of the highest growth rates of the AI industry in the world.
