
At the awarding ceremony, Sergiu Harea, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RM, noted the increased interest of companies in these competitions and, as a consequence, the constant growth in the number of participants. “The dynamic process of European integration is an additional factor that encourages them to invest in quality and competitiveness,” he said. – In this sense, entrepreneurs deserve to be recognized for their constant development and job creation”.
This year, 50 companies were recognized in the Quality Achievement Awards, of which 15 participated for the first time. As a result, 44 companies were awarded the prestigious “Goddess of Quality” trophy and 6 were awarded diplomas.
The purpose of this competition, which the CCI has held for 11 consecutive years, is to identify companies that have successfully implemented quality management systems and best practices in this area, as well as developing an organizational culture based on innovation and customer focus.
A total of 71 companies applied for the Trademark of the Year contest. In total, they submitted a record number of trademarks in various nominations – 141. Of these, 18 companies took part in the contest for the first time, demonstrating their interest in brand promotion and recognition of their achievements in the country and on the international market.
Held for the 22nd time, the Trademark of the Year contest identified leaders in various sectors of the economy and reflected consumer trends in the local market.
To win the main trophy, the Golden Mercury statuette, companies applied in one or several nominations. This year there were 14 of them: “reputation and trust”, “leader of the year”, “socially responsible business”, “online business”, “woman in business”, “debut of the year”, “export”, “green economy”, “consumer assessment”, etc.
An innovation were two special nominations reflecting the current trends of inclusive economy. The first nominated the best Moldovan companies operating in the field of social entrepreneurship. The second nomination is for companies participating in the system of dual education, integrating professional training of students into their activities.
