The decision of the Chisinau Municipal Council on the rates of local fees for 2026 has been published in the State Register of Local Acts. The list did not include the sanitary fee, which has long been a stumbling block in the approval of local fees and the Chisinau budget.
As Logos Press previously wrote, the decision on the rates in the capital was adopted by the council on March 23. According to the document, they were indexed by almost 4.7% for the current year. Except for a few items, the rates for which were left at the same level.
Thus, the councilors left unchanged the fees for the organization of auctions and lotteries, for advertising and for temporary residence.
The parking fee increased upto 40 lei per 1 sq.m.
At the same time, the parking fee increased by two lei this year – 40 lei per 1 square meter per year.
The market fee for all categories of payers has increased. It is set depending on the area of the plot and real estate objects located on the market territory.
The fee for transportation in cab mode increased from 440 to 460 lei per month per vehicle. But the rates of fees for carriers serving regular routes have not changed (from 325 to 700 lei per month, depending on the route of the bus or microbus).
The fee for territory improvement was also indexed up to 214 lei per employee, instead of 204 lei last year. And the fee for advertising devices – up to 996 lei and 460 lei per 1 square meter of the image on the vehicle.
Also, the fees for trade and services have been indexed. It should be recalled that they account for more than half of the municipal budget revenues from local fees. And local fees, in turn, provide about 12% of the municipal budget.
