As noted in the press release of the agency, the decision became possible after the entry into force of Law No. 227/2025, aimed at optimizing procedures for obtaining permits. The innovation reduces the financial burden on economic operators and makes export operations simpler and more accessible.
Supporting exports and reducing bureaucracy
ANSA management emphasizes that the waiver of phytosanitary certificate fees is part of broad reforms to digitalize services, reduce bureaucratic barriers and stimulate the development of the agri-food sector.
The phytosanitary certificate confirms the compliance of plant products with sanitary and phytosanitary standards and is a mandatory document for entering foreign markets. The abolition of payments is intended to strengthen the competitiveness of Moldovan exporters.
“The measure is a concrete step to support producers and facilitate exports. ANSA continues its course of simplifying public services and supporting businesses,” the agency said in a statement.
