“Eurasia” is mentioned in a report published by the Information and Security Service (ISS) of the Republic of Moldova. The document refers to “external interference in electoral processes in the Republic of Moldova” in 2024.

The authorities in Chisinau claim that through the Eurasia Group, fugitive oligarch Ilan Shor coordinated “subversive influence projects” against Moldova. The case “Information and Security Service (ISS) v. Eurasia organization” is pending before the Central Chamber of Appeals of Moldova. The first court hearing was scheduled for October 6, 2025, but was postponed for undisclosed reasons.

Tiraspol-born Alyona Arshinova, a State Duma deputy from Moscow and chair of Eurasia’s coordinating council, claims that her organization carries out “humanitarian activities” in Moldova. For example, it helps farmers, supports pensioners and organizes trips for young people to share experiences with other Eurasia participants, Arshinova explained.

The organizers fully covered the costs of the trip, accommodation, meals and excursions. Among the excursions were visits to the exhibition-forum “Russia” at VDNKh, offices of VK, Yandex, Skolkovo Technopark, as well as meetings with various experts.

In September 2024, with the support of the Moldovan Trade House in Russia, the Eurasia Gastro Center opened in Moscow at 3 Smolenskaya Street, opposite the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. It features products from several post-Soviet countries, including Moldovan fruits and vegetables.

The trial to ban Eurasia in Moldova is already proceeding with violations – in particular, the Moldovan authorities have not sent translations of documents into Russian, as required by procedural norms, Aliona Arshinova told RIA Novosti.
