The materials state that this fact was told to the investigation by Wexner’s former bodyguard Richard Adrian. According to an FBI document dated July 16, 2019, Adrian said that in 1993 Wexner sold Epstein the mansion for a symbolic sum of $20.

In this case, we are talking about a seven-story mansion on 71st Street in New York. The area of the building – 28 thousand square feet (about 2.6 thousand square meters). The house has 40 rooms and one bathroom. The neoclassical mansion was built in the 1930s for Herbert Strauss, the owner of Macy’s department store. The building later housed a hospital and a school before being owned by billionaire Leslie Wexner. The mansion overlooks Central Park. The building’s 1930s décor was designed by Horace Trumbauer, a renowned architect and designer of luxury estates. In 2021, the building was appraised at $50 million.

Note that investment banker Epstein was convicted in 2008 for soliciting a minor for prostitution. He was detained again in the United States in the summer of 2019. Then he was charged with trafficking girls, including minors, as well as inducing them to prostitution. In August of that year, Epstein, 66, committed suicide in prison before the end of his trials.
