In the first six months of this year, 715 beneficiaries were supported under the Compensation Program launched with EU financial support. It is designed to reduce the financial burden on small and medium-sized enterprises and maintain their competitiveness in the context of fluctuating energy prices.
Also within this program, the Agency for Agricultural Interventions and Payments (AIPA) supported farmers, paying them compensation totaling 18.74 million lei.
The program will be valid throughout 2025 and entrepreneurs will be able to apply exclusively online, through the EVO application or the MCabinet platform.
To better meet the needs of the business environment, the program was adjusted during implementation. Among the most important changes:
– Extending the application period from 10 to 30 days;
– Elimination of the 3% eligibility threshold to allow access to more beneficiaries;
– extending the duration of the program for the full year 2025 (originally planned for only three months).
