Enrollment in kindergartens will become electronic
The government intends to approve the concept of the system at a meeting on Wednesday, March 18.
As noted in the draft, the procedure for enrolling in kindergartens across the country is uneven and fragmented. It requires considerable administrative efforts on the part of local authorities, educational institutions and parents. The lack of a single digital mechanism reduces the transparency of the process and makes it difficult to monitor access to education.
The new platform will allow parents to apply for enrollment online, track the status of the application and receive notifications on the progress of the procedure.
The system will also automatically assign children to institutions based on predetermined criteria – age, place of residence and social priorities.
In addition, the platform will form a unified national database on applications submitted, the allocation of children and the availability of free places. This will allow authorities to plan the kindergarten network, resource allocation and staffing needs more efficiently.
The system is expected to be integrated with state information resources.
