
In financial terms, this represents a cumulative savings of almost 10 million lei achieved by these families in 2025 as a result of the new equipment purchased during the year. The annual electricity savings achieved by the equipment replaced in 2025 alone are estimated at 2.6 million kWh.
The beneficiaries of the 2025 sessions were families with children and elderly people over 63 years of age registered on the platform compensatii.gov.md.
Of the total number of beneficiaries, 4357 are households consisting of two, three or four pensioners. At the same time, 21207 households are families with minor children, of which 924 have 5 or more children, 2463 have 4 children, 11479 have 3 children and 6341 are raising 2 children.
Each voucher worth 6000 lei covers up to 70% of the cost of new household appliances – refrigerators of energy efficiency classes A, B, C or D and washing machines of class A, according to the new energy labeling. During the 2025 session, families that received vouchers purchased 12018 refrigerators and 13546 new energy efficient washing machines. All equipment meets European energy efficiency requirements and standards.
The program started in 2024. So in total, the savings achieved through the EcoVoucher program in 2025 as a result of the operation of all equipment purchased with vouchers, including equipment replaced in 2024, is approximately 5.41 million kWh or 20 million lei.
