The control revealed discrepancies between the officially declared data and the figures reflected in the company’s internal accounting reports. ANRE found not only discrepancies in the reporting of revenues received from the sale of petroleum products and actual volumes of petroleum products sold to retailers. There were also manipulations with the structures of expenses by type of activity and overstatement of administrative expenses, which were declared higher than the actual ones by more than 1.3 million lei.
Based on the results of the control and the detected violations, ANRE Board of Directors decided to oblige Fox Petrol to correct the distribution of operating expenses, to ensure accurate and realistic reporting of financial data. Also, in parallel, the procedure of sanctioning offenses will be initiated in accordance with the legal norms in force.
The Fox Petrol network includes 10 gas stations in Chisinau, Causeni, Anenii Noi and other localities of the country, which sell gasoline, diesel fuel and gas.
