“Dacia-Buiucani” returns to the Super League

Soccer club "Dacia-Buiucani" (Chisinau) has won the transition tournament and secured its participation in the first part of the Super League-2025/26, - reports Logos Press.

Six clubs competed for one of the two spots in the Superleague in the transition tournament. Two of them – Dacia-Buiucani and FC Florești – participated in the 2024/25 Super League, but after the first part of the tournament they finished in the last two places and had to compete with the top four clubs in Ligue 1 for the right to return to the top division.

FC Dacia-Buiucani topped the standings with nine wins and one draw. FC Florești, having lost all ten matches with a total score of 3:54, is in last place. The management, players and coaching staff were awarded with the tournament winners’ cup and medals.

Eight clubs will play for the second place in the next season of the Super League: Saksan (Ceadir-Lunga), FC Stăuceni, Victoria (Chisinau), FC Fălești, FC Florești, CF Speranis (Nisporeni), Iskra (Ribnita), FCM Ungheni. The winner will be determined by the results of the play-off matches. The 1/4 finals of the tournament will take place on May 17.

Eight clubs will take part in the Super League 2025/26, six of which were decided after the first part of the current season: Sheriff (Tiraspol), Zimbru (Chisinau), Petrocub (Hincesti), CSF Bălți, Milsami (Orhei) and Spartanii-Sportul (Selemet village, Cimislia district).
