The incident occurred during the match of the 4th round of the Super League 2025/26, in which the club “Dacia-Buiucani” played away against “Politehnica-UTM” (Chisinau). In the 86th minute of the match, after the striker of “Dacia-Buiucani” scored the third goal in the opponents’ goal, the player Alexandru Burov, who was not included in the application form for the match, ran onto the field. He decided to celebrate the goal with the team, which turned out to be the winning goal – the meeting ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of “Dacia-Buiucani”. The disciplinary commission established all the circumstances of the incident and decided to impose a fine of 5 thousand lei.
The club “Politehnica-UTM” also violated the Regulations of the Moldovan Football Championship by failing to timely confirm the match report in the electronic system, through which the data are transmitted to the FMF. This violation was assessed 10 thousand lei, the amount that Politehnica-UTM is obliged to pay.
Both clubs were also fined 2 thousand lei each for the excessive number of warnings (yellow cards) received by their players. The referee Dimitri Muntean issued six warnings to Politehnica-UTM players and four to Dacia-Buiucani.
At the moment, five rounds have been played in the Super League. Sheriff (Tiraspol) is the leader with 13 points, Milsami (Orhei) is in second place with nine points, Petrocub (Hincesti) is third (eight points). “Milsami and Petrocub have one match each in reserve.
