The deciding match ended with the score 3:2 in favor of CNSM-USM (25:22, 23:25, 13:25, 25:19, 15:11). The meeting was held in the sports hall of the State University.
Three victories with one defeat
The champion of Moldova this year was determined by the results of the fourth match of the final series. CNSM-USM won three of them, “Dor UTM” won only once.
In the final match Iurie Mogoreanu’s wards won the first game, lost the next two, but soon mobilized and finished the final two games in their favor.
Road to the final
CNSM-USM reached the final as a result of a winless semifinal series with “Dinamo” from Tiraspol (3:0). “Dor UTM”, in turn, did not allow the club “Speranța” from Vulcanesti to reach the final and try to defend the title of Moldovan champions, won last year. The series ended with the score 3:1 in favor of “Dor UTM”.
In the match for the third place “Speranța” from Vulcanesti was stronger. Serghei Tiuliu’s wards won the series with a score of 3:2. “On behalf of the whole team and myself, I would like to sincerely thank our fans. Your support accompanied us throughout the season and became an important part of this success,” reads the message of the mentor of the club from ATU Gagauzia, published by the press service of the Municipality of Vulcanesti.

The awarding ceremony of the Moldovan champions and silver medalists was attended by the president of the Volleyball Federation Alexandru Stratan. “Volleyball is developing at a rapid pace. We witnessed spectacular matches with great dedication, energy and passion for this beautiful sport. I would like to congratulate all the players, coaches, managers and fans who have demonstrated that this is not just a sport, but a passion that unites us all,” said the head of the specialized federation.
By winning the Moldovan championship, the CNSM-USM club proved its dominance in men’s club volleyball. In 2025, it won the Moldovan Cup, defeating that rival – “Dor UTM”. In the final, which consisted of one match, CNSM-USM then won with a score of 3:2.
