The largest exposition in the Baltic region this year involves 310 tourism companies and organizations from 27 countries. It takes place from February 6 to 8, 2026. Traditionally held at the beginning of the new tourist season, the exhibition presents new vacation destinations and industry trends.
According to the information of Chisinau City Hall, Moldova’s stand at Balttour 2026 was visited by a delegation from Latvia headed by the Minister of Economy, Mr. Viktors Valainis.
The exhibition in Riga provides an opportunity to present Moldova’s tourism offer, discuss cooperation prospects and strengthen institutional relations. And the participation of Chisinau representatives in B2B sessions facilitates direct dialog with future international partners, contributing to the creation of new links with local operators from the Baltic States and other European markets.
The presence of our country at BALTTOUR-2026 confirms the common desire to promote Moldova as a developing, competitive and open for international cooperation tourism destination, strengthening, among other things, the capital’s position on the European tourism market.
The participation of the Moldovan delegation was organized by the National Tourism Office with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
