Donald Trump Jr. visited Bucharest on April 28. His visit was part of a tour that covers Hungary, Bulgaria and Serbia. The White House leader’s eldest son made the visit a few days before the May 4 presidential election in Romania, which was received ambiguously in Bucharest.
In this regard, the Romanian publication Adevarul recalled that the son of the current US president criticized the cancellation of the elections in Romania last November (when Donald Trump Sr. had not yet taken office as US president, although he had already been elected – LP note). “Wow, look what’s happening in Romania! The Constitutional Court just canceled the first round of the presidential election. Another attempt by Soros supporters to rig the results and deny the will of the people,” he wrote on Platform X at the time.
