The launch of a new electronic service was announced by the Public Services Agency (ASP). Obtaining a “Certificate of Classification of Tourism Reception Facilities” will be carried out on the basis of an application submitted electronically by the administrator of the company. An electronic signature is required for this purpose.
When submitting the application, the administrator of the company is authenticated through the MPass service, attaches the necessary package of documents and signs the application with an electronic signature.
During the entire review process the applicant receives notifications according to the stage at which the application is being reviewed (e-mail, MNotify). When submitting an application, it is possible to order delivery of the certificate directly to the specified address via MDelivery service.
Due to the fact that ASP has the function of classifying tourist reception facilities, after reviewing the application and the attached documentation, it verifies the fulfillment of the minimum classification criteria on site in the presence of a representative of the facility and draws up a certificate of verification.
The classification of tourist reception facilities with accommodation functions is carried out by assigning them stars according to their type, constructional characteristics, infrastructure, equipment and minimum level of quality of services provided. Thus, the classified object automatically assumes compliance with the minimum mandatory criteria, which provides a higher level of confidence on the part of tourists.
The launched electronic service is offered in order to avoid the need to visit the relevant subdivision of the State Services Agency twice – once to submit an application in person and the second time to receive the Certificate.
