Alina Chebotarev
Chebotarev is currently Deputy Director of the Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship (ODA). She has 25 years of experience in the public sector. At ODA, Alina Chebotarev is involved in the implementation of business support programs and state aid measures. She also has 18 years of supervisory experience, including working as Director of the Non-Bank Lending Department at the National Financial Market Commission.
We shall remind you that on February 26, the parliament approved by 55 votes the termination of powers of the former chairman of the Competition Council, Oleksiej Hercescu.
In his resignation letter, Mr. Gertsescu referred to personal circumstances. His resignation followed parliamentary hearings, during which MPs criticized the report on the implementation of the National Program of Accession to the EU in the “Internal Market” cluster, chapter “Competition Policy”. Parliamentarians noted delays in the implementation of key bills.
The Commission on Law, Appointments and Immunities recommended a parliamentary control of his activity in this position.
